  1. Hey Jon!
    Great work on the creator.
Couple of problems that I found whilst creating some items.
1: The Title isn’t big enough or doesn’t contain long names and spills outside the card template.
2: Font in RULES needs a bit more option like underline and bold for clarity sakes for complex items.
3: Perhaps make a different field who can use the weapons e.g. ‘Wizard Only’
Other than those problems this creator is perfect!
    Thanks for all your effort.
    Regards – Ross Smith.

  2. Oh and 1 more thing!
Perhaps be able to change the colour of font so cards can be uniform for categories such as objective room treasure.

    Cheers.

  4. Hello Jon,

Good job on the generator! Very handy. Our group has been using it to create our own cards (we’ve had lists of user generated items for ages but never got round to making them into proper cards).

Is it possible to make it able to handle longer treasure item names? Or perhaps you could make the source code available? (am a nooby at coding but could give it a try).

    Thank you for the contribution!

    Cheers,
    Jimmy.

  6. Hi Jimmy,

I’ve made a few changes to the code, hopefully they’ll be of some help.

  7. Hi Ross,

I’ve made a few changes to the code so it should be a little more useful, the titles are dynamically resized in attempt to fit more text in the the space, obviously don’t go mad. I’ve also added the option to specifiy which type of treasure card it is. I’m still working on expanding the text formatting options.

  8. Hello Jon,

Thank you for the update! as a result we designed, printed and laminated a dozen or so cards. Check them out:

(click on the card to go to the next one)

Feel free to incorporate into your own campaign (I’m assuming you are a dungeon master?) More to come!

    Cheers,
    Jimmy.

  12. Thank you for a wonderful tool. I have been away from WHQ for 10 years and am just now starting a new group. This tool will be a great help as I prepare my adventures!

  13. THANK YOU SO MUCH for this generator!

I lost a lot of my game collection to flooding a couple of years back and am now trying to duplicate some of my collection from .pdfs I’ve found. The issue however is that most are low-res or skewed scans of cards.

Now I can reproduce (albeit painstakingly) the cards from the main set and expansions and hopefully print them out much more easily. And while the cards generated are not %100 perfect reproductions, they are incredibly close!

Also, if anyone has more printer friendly, hi-res game tiles or properly scaled card sheets of the game or its expansions (including the White Dwarf supplements), please PLEASE email me @ thehemogoblin@hotmail.com with links or something, I would be greatly thankful for this! Warhammer Quest was my favourite game and I’m dying to get my gaming group into it.

    Thank you!
